AKRON, Ohio — Where is that confounded bridge?

Police are trying to fill in the gaps to that mystery after a 58-foot-brige was reported stolen from a field behind Harwick Standard Corp. on South Seiberling Street in East Akron.

On Nov. 3, it was discovered that treated deck boards on the bridge had been removed, police say. On Nov. 11, the entire bridge, which is 10 feet wide and 6 feet high, was missing ... a span of just over a week.

The bridge formerly was used in Middlebury Run Park, police say.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the bridge can contact police at 330-375-2464.
