Hundreds of members of the fringe QAnon conspiracy cult began gathering near Dealey Plaza in Dallas, Texas just before Thanksgiving in anticipation of the triumphant return of John F. Kennedy Jr., who would allegedly mark the anniversary of his father’s assassination by announcing his run for Trump’s Vice President in 2024. When that didn’t happen–what with JFK Jr. not being alive for the last 22 years–the QAnons just kept moving the goalpoasts, as all hardcore conspiracy theorists do. Even though they said he simply moved the venue, John-John also didn’t show up to open for the Rolling Stones, another shocking non-development.

The group that remains in Dallas (because going back to their real lives is just too hard for them, probably) threw themselves another little conference this weekend, because true patriots constantly get together to whine about how no one else is as patriotic as they are. During “Awaken America” (sponsored by My Pillow?) conference, a man in the audience asked the panel–which included disgraced-but-still-pardoned National Security Adviser Michael “QAnon Pledge” Flynn and fellow Qrazy Qidiots Arizona Senators Wendy Rogers and Mark Finchem–which govt agencies should be disbanded “in light of the Ghislaine Maxwell/JeffretyEpstein trial.” They responded: FBI, CIA, NSA, and the CDC. Okay, Qrazies.

Remember, these are the people who’ve twisted themselves into believing there’s a global pedophile cabal of “Satanic liberal elitists” that secretly controls the world, and only Donald Trump can save them (but JFK Jr is coming back to help!). They also believe that Hillary Clinton will be arrested and executed for her part in the trafficking of these children. Oh wait, and they’re all lizard people wearing the skins of celebrities which is why Tom Hanks went to Bob Dole’s funeral, or something.

But the real patriotism happened when a singer who couldn’t sing at all was hired specifically to sing the National Anthem (the real one, not a made-up QAnon anthem) and got the words very wrong.
