Located approximately two kilometres north of the Greenough Historic Settlement, the iconic leaning trees of Greenough are a must-see when in the region.

Buffeted by prevailing southerly winds, the leaning trees of Greenough (eucalyptus camaldulensis or red river gum) have grown to be a popular icon visited by many travellers. It is only on the windswept Greenough Flats that the tree develops its distinctive leaning structure - growing perpendicular to the soil below.
